Memories of hopping at School House Farm in Horsmonden
Eddie Slough was a lad of 9 when he first came to Horsmonden in 1945. Living in South East London, his family were regular visitors to School House Farm, Bainden.
Eddie recalls his first visit to Horsmonden and hop picking adventures. Horsmonden and hop picking was very much in his blood!
Sadly, Eddie died recently, but his family have kindly agreed for his memories to be published and will appear in a new section of the Horsmonden village website; Memories of Hop Picking in Horsmonden.
