I am currently in the process of writing a book on the incident of Robert Stanford Tuck, famous Battle of Britain fighter ace, who baled out over Horsmonden after his aircraft was shot down on the 18th August, 1940.
I would love to hear from anyone who has any knowledge of this event, or could point me to anyone who does. In particular anyone who has personal memories of that incident. You will get a credit in the book and may even get a free copy!
